Steven Flint FCCA - General Manager

Steven is General Manager of Eirdata and heads up the business providing leadership and direction in terms of its business strategy and service offering. Additionally he provides expert advice on energy procurement to the Eirdata portfolio of clients and assists in the financial appraisal of proposed energy investments.

He is a Chartered Accountant and studied for a master’s degree in business administration at Henley Management College, UK. Steven has a long established depth of experience in both the public and private sector and has a particular expertise in the area of energy procurement and renewable energy including wind.

He previously worked as a Director in an Irish energy consultancy where he was responsible for the strategy and direction of the business and financial assessment of all work undertaken. He established a significant wind energy development business and an energy procurement service for large energy users. He also worked for KPMG Ireland where his major area of responsibility was in the advice of use of Public Private Partnership, (PPP).

Ian Boylan BE, MEngSC, CEM, CEng - Energy Services Manager

Ian joined Eirdata in 2006 following on from his position as a Senior Electrical Officer in the Irish Naval Service.

He has worked on numerous projects for Eirdata in all aspects of energy with a number of major Eirdata clients. He has also assisted a number of clients in achieving certification to the Irish Energy Management Standard IS393

Ian specialises in utility systems optimisation, sustainable energy systems and energy management systems.

Kevin Warner CEM - HVAC Services Manager

Kevin joined Eirdata in 2003 following a career at sea as a Marine Engineer.

He manages our team of HVAC engineers and technicians ensuring a high quality approach to the provision of these services.

Kevin specialises in pharmaceutical cleanroom compliance and HVAC maintenance systems. Kevin is also an examiner for the Cleanroom Testing & Certification Board (CTCB)

Martin Corkery BEng, CEM - Senior Energy Engineer

Martin recently joined the Eirdata team in March 2009; previous to this Martin was the energy team leader for Pfizer (Ireland and Singapore).

With an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering and many years of experience, Martin has extensive expertise with all industrial utilities in terms of Design, commissioning , operation and efficiency improvement

Martin is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) & an authorized CEM course instructor

In his position with Pfizer Martin was also responsible for the development and maintenance of the Pfizer Loughbeg Energy Management System: IS393 (Irish Standard for Energy Management ) having worked closely with Eirdata consultants in its development.

Finbarr Cronin - Senior HVAC Engineer

Finbarr joined Eirdata in 2004, having spent a number of years in the engineering dept at Schering Plough Brinny.

He has a background in Electrical and Instrumentation and works with a team of technicians providing a range of HVAC services to the pharmaceutical industry.

Finbarr specialises in HVAC maintenance, validation and projects.

Ray McKeown CEM - Energy Engineer

Ray joined Eirdata in 2001 as an electrical/instrument technician and was promoted to Energy Engineer in 2007.

He uses his electrical and process expertise in energy audits.

Ray specialises in energy monitoring, HVAC energy and lighting.

Derek White, BE CEM - Energy Engineer

Derek joined Eirdata in 2006. He works on a wide range of projects and energy audits, including Compressed air, Boiler & Steam systems, HVAC, and Refrigeration systems.

Derek also specializes in M&T (monitoring and targeting) and provides ongoing M&T support to a number of clients.”

Shane Leavy, MEng CEM - Energy Engineer

Shane has recently joined the Energy Team as an Energy Engineer following his graduation from DIT with a MEng (Mechanical). Prior to completing his MEng he worked with a prominent M&E consultancy on a wide range of projects.

Shane specialises in energy efficient design (EED) challenges, retro-commissioning, HVAC and energy saving projects with some of our pharmaceutical clients.
